Alan Rubinstein is a certified public school teacher, music performer, and entrepreneur. He holds a Bachelor of Music from Oberlin College Conservatory of Music and an M.A. in Liberal Studies from Towson University.
Since its establishment in 1987, Involvement Theater Inc. has been on a relentless mission to bring the transformative power of music, education, and theater to diverse communities across the mid-Atlantic region. Involvement Theater has proudly offered an extensive range of highly interactive, educational performances, workshops, and assembly programs to senior centers, schools, and community organizations.
Involvement Theater’s programs are approved by the Maryland State Arts Council’s Artists-In-Education Program and the National Endowment of the Arts. The 2023 Catch a Rising Star programs are made possible through generous support by the Maryland State Arts Council.
Alan's love for film, music, theater, and musicology served as the inspiration behind Catch a Rising Star! Catch a Rising Star is the latest program in Involvement Theater's repertoire.
